At Recovery Inc, our mission is simple: Bodies. Moving. Better.

Whether you’re injured, striving for better performance, training for a sport, or managing pain from work and daily life, our team is here to support you with world-class, personalised care.

Founded by Tom Dickie, Recovery Inc has grown into a multi-location performance and rehabilitation provider serving Hertfordshire, Essex, London and Manchester. Our approach is built on expert clinical care, education, and an integrated system that brings movement, recovery and performance together.

This first blog post introduces who we are, what we stand for, and the pillars that shape every client journey.

Who We Are

Recovery Inc is a team of Sports Therapists, Sports Massage Therapists, Biomechanics Specialists, Strength & Conditioning Coaches and Educators. Together, we deliver a complete experience that helps people move pain-free, prevent injury, and build long-term performance.

We work across:

  • Injury assessment and treatment
  • Sports massage & soft tissue therapy
  • Strength & conditioning
  • Movement & biomechanics analysis
  • Team sports medical support
  • Corporate wellness
  • Education and qualifications through RX Education
  • Performance services for academies, golfers, athletes and teams

Tom Dickie, Clinical Director:
“Recovery should never be confusing. Our goal is to give people clarity, confidence and a plan that genuinely works for their body and their lifestyle. That’s what Recovery Inc was built on.”

Our Three Pillars of Practice:

Movement Mastery

Before someone can perform well or recover properly, they must move well.

Our Movement Mastery pillar includes:

  • Full body, upper body and lower body biomechanical screenings
  • Functional movement pattern assessments
  • Gait and running analysis
  • Sport-specific mechanics testing (e.g., golf, football, running)
  • Identification of movement limitations, weaknesses and asymmetries

Understanding how a client moves gives us the roadmap to preventing injury, identifying root causes and building long-term strength.

Tom C, Medical Lead:
“Movement tells us everything. When we assess properly, we don’t just treat symptoms – we understand the cause. That’s where real results come from.”

Performance & Recovery Integration

At Recovery Inc, rehab and performance are not separate.

This pillar blends strength, conditioning, injury care and recovery into one seamless journey.

This includes:

  • Clinical injury assessment
  • 1:1 rehabilitation
  • Strength & conditioning programming
  • Sports massage & soft tissue therapy
  • Recovery mobility sessions
  • Return-to-play & return-to-running frameworks
  • Corporate wellness & desk-health support

Whether someone is returning from injury, looking to improve athletic performance, or simply wanting to feel better day to day, our integrated system ensures they progress safely and effectively.

Craig, Strength & Conditioning Lead:
“The best results happen when rehab and performance work hand in hand. We don’t wait until someone is ‘fixed’ to start performance work – we integrate the two from day one.”

Education & Empowerment

We help people understand their bodies, build independent habits and make confident decisions
about their health.

This pillar includes:

  • Personal Training, Sports Massage and Fitness qualifications via RX Education
  • Corporate workshops
  • Team, academy and athlete education
  • Take-home rehab plans
  • Self-management strategies
  • CPD learning for clinicians

Our belief is that the more educated someone is, the stronger, healthier and more resilient they become.

Tom Dickie:
“Empowerment is the difference between short-term results and long-term transformation. We want every client to leave smarter, stronger and more in control of their health.”
