Clinical Supervision & VAT Disclaimer

Clinical Assessment, Supervision & Treatment

All medical and rehabilitation treatments provided by Recovery Inc. require an initial clinical assessment, an agreed treatment or rehabilitation plan, and ongoing supervision by a registered healthcare professional.

Where treatment is delivered by a student, assistant practitioner, or support staff member, this will always be under the supervision and clinical responsibility of a registered physiotherapist or appropriately registered therapist in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

VAT Treatment

Medical services delivered for the purpose of injury assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation — and provided or supervised by a registered healthcare professional — are ordinarily exempt from VAT under current UK legislation.

Where a registered physiotherapist or supervising clinician is not present or not providing clinical supervision, the session may be classified as a non-medical service and will therefore be subject to VAT at the standard rate.

Recovery Inc. reserves the right to apply VAT to services where the criteria for medical VAT exemption are not met.
